BetMGM looking to collaborate with Grupo Globo in Brazil

In order to establish a BetMGM sports betting and igaming brand in Brazil, MGM Resorts International is attempting to form a new business partnership with Grupo Globo, a Latin American media organization.

The joint venture would debut in Brazil in early 2025 if the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting approves BetMGM's license. It would combine Grupo Globo's consumer knowledge, which has a "reach of almost 70 million people every day through its multiple vehicles," with MGM Resorts' gaming and entertainment expertise and LeoVegas' technology.
