Betting & Gaming Council welcomes plans for modernization of casinos

The Betting and Gaming Council has praised the modernization plans for casinos and demanded that they be put into action quickly.

This is in response to the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport's White Paper consultation response on land-based gaming and betting, which contained modernization-related measures for casinos.

The implementation of cashless payments, new guidelines for the distribution of gaming machines, and the opening of sports betting to all casinos were among the other ideas.

The Gambling Commission will consult on player protection measures pertaining to debit card payments on gaming machines, according to the UK Government, in order to guarantee proper standards.
