BGC wants to break the record with its yearly charity wager on the Grand National.

The Betting and Gaming Council is starting its annual Grand National charity bet for the 2024 race. They are inviting over 50 MPs to bet on the race at local betting shops, giving each MP £50.

If they win, the money goes to a charity of their choice. The BGC wants to surpass last year's donation of nearly £11,000. The Grand National is a big event, watched by millions worldwide.
