BHA BeFriend will receive £175,000 over the next three years thanks to a National Lottery funding.

The Berwickshire Housing Association got £175,000 from the National Lottery to support its BeFriend program for three more years.

This program helps lonely and isolated people in Berwickshire and Kelso by providing companionship and support.

With this funding, the program will keep running with the help of part-time employees and volunteers. It aims to reach out to seniors facing loneliness, or mobility issues.
