The authorities alleged that the suspect had connections with other individuals involved in bookmaking via the WhatsApp messaging platform. On the other hand, the defense attorney contended that the police unlawfully detained the businessperson for a span of two days. Eventually, a regional Bankshall court granted him provisional release.
