I have found the basic strategy (BS) charts created by Blackjack Apprenticeship (BJA) to work very well for me across several casino blackjack variants. However, the BJA charts are designed for specific rule sets. I was wondering if anyone has tips for adapting the BJA strategy charts to different blackjack rule variations you encounter in casinos? In my experience, the basic approach still remains the same - look for situations where the house edge is highest and play accordingly. But some adjustments to the 'hit' or 'stand' recommendations may be needed based on the specific deck, number of decks in use, and house edge for different rules. I would appreciate any insights from experienced players on how to modify BJA charts for variants I have not played extensively before.
