Blackpool Council set to provide support for gambling addiction

According to a new survey, gambling addiction is so severe for some Blackpool residents that they have considered suicide. One resident of the Lancashire town told researchers that it was "terrifying" to be in so much debt and feel "so low" that they considered suicide. Blackpool Council has approved a four-year Gambling-Related Harm Strategy in an effort to address the issue, which experts say affects all parts of a person's life, including their health and relationships.
