Bolivia regulator cracks down on unlicensed gambling

The number of unapproved promotions found during inspections decreased to 54 in 2023 from over 8,700, according to Bolivia's gambling regulator.

According to the Gaming Supervisory Authority, sixty-four inspections at unapproved locations resulted in the seizure of 414 gaming devices.

Additionally, last year the agency found and blocked thirty illicit online gaming websites.

The regulator has fined over £399,857, has found 27 people guilty so far, and has ordered four people to pay damages.
