Boston professional sports teams support youth sports betting safety coalition

To inform youth about the dangers of gambling, Massachusetts is implementing initiatives.

A public-private collaboration called the Youth Sports Betting Safety Coalition is being launched by the state, according to Attorney General Andrea. Its goal is to inform youth about the legal framework and the dangers surrounding gaming.

Targeting New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, National Collegiate Athletic Association, and other major sports organizations, the alliance will offer evidence-based instruction and training to state citizens between the ages of 12 and 20.
