Boyd Gaming to build new casino near Las Vegas

On Thursday, Boyd Gaming revealed that it would be tearing down its Jokers Wild Casino in Nevada and constructing a new casino called Cadence Crossing Casino somewhere else on the 15-acre property. The construction is anticipated to start later this year and be finished by early 2026.

The 10,000 square foot casino at Cadence Crossing will have 450 slot machines, a number of restaurants, and live entertainment. Potential growth, such as the addition of a hotel, more casino space, and other amenities, will be considered in the property's design.
