The Brazilian Secretariat for Prizes and Bets has announced that on-site inspections will be required as part of the upcoming regulated online gambling market. According to the new law, the regulator will begin conducting in-person visits to licensees' offices in January 2025.
The Secretariat for Prizes and Bets will also use the Betting Management System to process data from the operators' websites. Operators must notify the regulator via the Betting Management System of any suspicions of match-fixing or results manipulation within five business days.
