Brazil gambling regulator planning on implementing self-exclusion scheme

As it turns its attention to the second phase of its regulatory proceedings after the net gambling marketplace opened on January 1, the Brazilian gambling regulator has announced that it will start working at the development of a federal gambling self-exclusion scheme. Additionally, it intends to update the guidelines for LOTEX scratch card games and tighten advertising regulations.

In addition to monitoring folks who voluntarily self-exclude from gaming or related advertising, the gambling regulator wants the self-exclusion device to check folks who are legally prohibited from making a bet, such as athletes and personnel.
