Brentford player eager to put things right after long layoff from betting ban

In the friendly draw with Belgium, Ivan Toney scored on his first start for England. Now, he wants to make up for lost time by earning a spot at Euro 2024.

Toney missed most of that year due to suspension; he had been out of commission for eight months following his violation of Football Association betting regulations.

Since making his comeback to Brentford in January, he has scored four goals, and England manager Gareth Southgate has kept a close eye on him.
