British Columbia casino money-launderer killed despite being wrong target

Prosecutors claim that the infamous money launderer from casinos who was shot and killed in a Richmond Japanese restaurant was not the intended target.

Owner of Silver International, an underground bank connected to drug cartels that siphoned hundreds of millions of dollars through casinos in the Vancouver area, the deceased was the bank's operator.

Prosecutors claim that the true target was his companion, an alleged operator of illicit gambling who laundered money through Silver International.
