British Columbia granted leave from Ontario iGaming dispute

According to a recent report, British Columbia recently ended a legal battle concerning Ontario, Canada's legal online gambling industry. The lawsuit aimed at bolstering the iGaming market in Ontario, the most populous province in the nation, might have included the government as an opponent.

By facilitating the connection between domestic players of poker games and daily fantasy sports contests and players from overseas, Ontario aimed to strengthen its online gambling market. In an attempt to revitalize its daily fantasy sports and poker verticals, the province finally turned to the Court of Appeals with this query.
