British fraudster given a further sentence of sixteen months after arrogant retort on charges issued

A British man sentenced to 16 months in prison for defrauding betting machines with laminated banknotes. Regrettably, a judge at Liverpool Crown Court stated that Michael Shaw's in-court gestures of contrition were severely undermined by a pompous vitriolic rant on TikTok. On February 15, Shaw, 38, and his brother, Paul Shaw, 39, both of Liverpool, admitted guilt to conspiracy to commit fraud by deliberate misrepresentation. Between September 2017 and May 2018, they targeted slot machines in gambling venues and bars all across northern portion of England, creating fraudulent credits with manufactured and laminated £20 bills. The pair yanked the banknote out of the machine with a plastic cable attached to it.
