British Gambling Commission expands investigation into election date bets

Insider betting on the general election day is allegedly the subject of an expanded investigation by the Gambling Commission. Four Conservative politicians are currently being examined by the regulator as part of its investigation into a "Tory party betting ring," and hundreds more bets may still be under investigation.

A dossier containing the specifics of every wager that would have won more than £199 on election day was delivered to the Gambling Commission.
