British Horseracing Authority highlights horse safety at Cheltenham Festival

Information about the welfare and safety of horses in the UK has been made public by the British Horseracing Authority.

This was posted in conjunction with the start of the largest horse racing event in history, the Cheltenham Festival, which spans several days.

The statement continued by stating that £47 million had been spent on this topic's research and instruction over the previous 20 years.

In addition to the BHA, there is the Horse Welfare Board, which is independently chaired and oversees 26 projects with the goal of enhancing welfare in all its forms.
