British lawmakers inquire on means of holding Allwyn operator accountable

British lawmakers are requesting assurances that Allwyn, a Czech company, will fulfill its pledge to donate lottery profits to charitable organizations as the new operator of the UK National Lottery takes over.

The UK Gambling Commission is currently being questioned by lawmakers to clarify its plans for holding Allwyn accountable.

The all-party parliamentary group on gambling-related harm questioned the regulator in a letter what steps are being taken to guarantee that under the new contract, returns to charitable causes are given priority and are augmented.
