Bulgarian gambling operators with self-excluded staff set to face fines

The National Revenue Agency of Bulgaria, the country's government department in charge of gaming regulation, has announced that self-excluded individuals will not be permitted to work for casino enterprises. People on the country's recently implemented self-exclusion register, according to the NRA, are barred from working with gaming businesses. Employers must also follow a unique standard set in Bulgaria's gaming legislation, according to the NRA. According to the government, gambling enterprises that break this provision and employ self-excluded individuals face a fine ranging from $2,800 to $11,250.
