A tennis official from Bulgaria has been banned by the International Tennis Integrity Agency.
He was found to have violated the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program 21 times, leading to a lifelong ban after an investigation.
The national-level official first denied the allegations, but he later withdrew his appeal in front of an impartial Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer hearing.
This included bet-taking on tennis matches, facilitating bets, arranging to commit corruption offenses, and failing to disclose unethical practices. It also included manipulating match scoring data for betting purposes.
