An exciting heritage project at the much loved historic venue, Connecting People with Hidden Heritage, has been awarded a £9,468 grant by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to The Burnley Empire Trust.
Enabled by National Lottery players, the project's main goal is to host accessible open days where the general public can visit the town's historic venue.
With funding from the Heritage Fund, the project will provide public and community groups with an opportunity to explore the interior of the building and discover more about the past, present, and future of the only remaining venue of its kind in the area.
