Caesars Virginia casino development costs rises to $700 million

Caesars Virginia is becoming more and more expensive.

On the site of the former textile campus of Dan River Mills, Caesars Entertainment is constructing an integrated resort casino.

Caesars informed the Danville City Council that a number of wrongdoers bear responsibility. Subterranean tunnels were found during the former textile mill's site preparation, which made it more difficult to prepare the ground for the casino and hotel. The resort has also raised the stakes due to ongoing inflation, which is driving up labor and material costs.
