The operating permit for Caesars Entertainment at Caesars Windsor will run out in 2025. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) began a competitive bidding process this week in anticipation of forming a new relationship with a company on the Las Vegas Strip or a new gaming management organization.Prequalified companies must prove to the OLG that they have a proven track record of running sizable casino resorts like Caesars Windsor. Companies who have prequalified move on to the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage of the procurement process. According to the OLG, the casino operators that meet the requirements for the RFP will have the chance to share their visions for Caesars Windsor's future.
