California man arrested for $25million casino Ponzi scheme

Two guys were charged via federal authorities in Utah with operating a $25 million Ponzi scheme that deceived victims into investing in a fictitious casino project in Mexico.

Starting in 2021, the defendants told at least ten victims that they have been collaborating on the assignment with the Mexican Lottery, data middle business enterprise Datapod, Mexican tour operator Cabo Paradise, and online casino behemoth MGM Resorts. They asserted that they had already gotten thousands and thousands of bucks in investments and that the online casino could be constructed in the hotel city of Cabo San Lucas.
