Generally speaking, it is not allowed for a poker player to reach into the muck in poker. This is because it could give the player an unfair advantage by allowing them to see the cards of other players in the hand. In most cases, any cards that have been discarded in the muck are ruled as dead and cannot be used in the hand. Additionally, reaching into the muck could be seen as a breach of etiquette, as it could be seen as disrespectful to other players in the game.
