A sportsbook may cancel a bet after it has been placed if certain conditions are met. For example, if there is a clear error in the odds or lines posted, the sportsbook may cancel the bet and refund the bettor's stake. Similarly, if a game or event is canceled or postponed, bets on that game or event may be voided and refunded. It is important to read and understand the terms and conditions of the sportsbook before placing any bets.

Additionally, sportsbooks may also cancel a bet if they suspect fraud or wrongdoing. This could include cases where a bettor is found to be using a fake identity or engaging in any kind of activity that goes against the sportsbook's policies. In such cases, the sportsbook may cancel the bet and close the bettor's account.

It is worth noting that in most cases, sportsbooks will honor bets that have been placed even if they later identify an error or mistake. This is why it is important for sports bettors to carefully review the odds and lines offered by the sportsbook before placing a bet, and to only place bets that they are comfortable with and that make sense based on their knowledge of the sport or event.

In the event that a sportsbook does cancel a bet after it has been placed, bettors should check the terms and conditions of the sportsbook to understand what their options are. In some cases, the sportsbook may offer to refund the bettor's stake or provide an alternative bet to make up for the canceled bet. It is important to contact the sportsbook's customer service team if you have any questions or concerns about a canceled bet.

Yes! A bookmarker can cancel bet on several occasions like odd errors, postponement of games or cancellations of games etc. I believe the TOS is made to favor the bookmarkers. A lot of the TOS is made to favor the bookmarkers which i belive a gambler can seek redress in court. I believe some of terms of contract will be declared null and void in court.
