Guy, I feel your pain when pocket rockets look so sweet but end up exploding in your face. Been there too many times! I remember one hand real well - I was up against a loose cannon who seemed lucky as the day is long. The flop and turn were rags, but that river card paired the board. I knew this clown hit his long shot straight, so rather than throwing more good money after bad, I wisely showed discretion by folding what seemed a sure winner at the outset. Sometimes smart play means living to fight another day.
