I like to know a lot of things going on around me so I listen to breaking news regularly as a result. There was a time I was reading a news about a guy who give all his lottery winnings to a sporting Club he loves. when he was asked his head he did it out of pure love for the club. This sounds very strange too many people. I want to ask that can you give lottery winnings to charity?

It is definitely possible to offer your winnings obtained from the lottery to non-governmental organizations and other charitable institutions. In fact, it should be encouraged, especially if you are quite well-to-do yourself.

That's a personal decision. We are different type of people. But it is gonna be hard for me to make that type of decision right now. Lottery is all about luck. I have seen people win on it and they end up spending their money lavishly. So, it's not a big deal donating all the money. I hope he has more money in the bank

It depends on your religion. For some religions earning from gambling are considered as non legal way and then offering this money to a charity for them will not let you near to God as he doesn't like these staffs. Means there is no general rule about gambling and doing offering to a charity.

Your assertion is correct. It depends on whether the individual wants to donate to a good cause or if they want to enjoy the fruits of their labour by themselves, which is also not a bad idea at all.

There's absolutely nothing you cannot do to the charity if you have the will and the mind to give them certain amount of money. You can definitely give the form lotto to charity organisations.

Yes, i can give my money for charity but doing that i must have enough money in my account so that it can't affect me financially, but giving out money to charity is a bless on it own and a very good idea

Certain charities doesn't accept money if it is gambling source and some charities accepts because they consider as unethical way for earning, it depends from charity concept and background. Nothing is a general rule for such kind of situations.

If I win big, I may decide to give some to the charity houses. But to be frank, I don't really love it that way. I will love my charity donation to come from the money I sweat for and not the one I got my luck.

I can give part of the winnings and to charity because myself I'm have not gotten to the stage of giving free gifts because I'm still in need of money but I can still give certain percentage to the charity generously.

You can give lottery winnings to charity, and in some cases, it can be tax-deductible. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when making a charitable donation. You must make sure that the charity is a qualified charitable organization.
