Can you go a year without playing poker?

Going a year’s an eternity when you’ve spent your whole life gambling. Christmases’d seem sad, birthdays dreary without a game underway. Vacations’d feel pointless with nothing but time on my hands and no cards to fill it. No sir, as long as there’s a casino open and a sucker seated across from me, you best believe I’ll be calling the bets and trading chips from dawn till dusk. Poker’s my purpose and passion, as natural as the sunrise. Sorry partner, but you won’t be taking me out of the game for 52 pick-up!

It sounds like you have a deep love for poker and the thrill it provides. However, it's important to consider the potential negative effects that too much gambling can have on one's life. If you feel like you're struggling to control your gambling habits, it might be worth considering taking a break for a while to reassess and reevaluate your relationship with the game. Taking time away from poker can also help you gain a fresh perspective and possibly even improve your skills when you come back to it. It's always a good idea to prioritize your well-being and make sure that your passions aren't causing harm to yourself or others.
