Gamblers Anonymous is the classic - a 12-step program where you share experiences and lift each other up at regular meetings.

SMART Recovery uses CBT and motivation strategies to beat addiction, including gambling. They offer free support groups and online resources.

Women for Sobriety is about recovery for women, including from gambling addiction. Their groups and tools address women's specific challenges and needs.

Online, check forums on Reddit or apps like HeySigmund and Talkspace, which provide international support communities. In-person groups have more accountability, so combine online and live meetings for the best recovery boost.

The right support is what works for you. Try different groups until you click with one. With people who get it and back you up, you're not alone fighting addiction. Every bit of support helps, so don't wait to reach out. Your new life is worth it.

Your statement is factual here. I am aware of how prominent and respectable Gamblers Anonymous is as an organization which helps to reform gambling addicts, so it is no surprise to see them listed as a resource geared towards change in the mindset of addicts.

Is this Gamblers Anonymous popular because I have not heard about it?. This is a kind of support group I would want its services extended to Africa because, right now, Africa is bedeviled with the plague of gambling addiction especially with its youths. Africa needs support group to treat its children.

There are various online forums, chat rooms, and communities where individuals with gambling addiction can connect, share their experiences, and seek advice from peers. Be cautious when using online resources and ensure they are reputable and safe.
