Canadian casino shut down after security guard shot dead

Following a security guard's fatal injury on Monday morning, a gaming establishment and hotel in Ontario are currently closed.

It appears that the shooter or shooters shot the victim repeatedly while he was inside the casino structure. The victim was taken immediately to a nearby trauma center after the police arrived. He passed away in the hospital. It seems that no one else was hurt in the gunfire.

At least one man and one woman are thought to be the suspects. Following the shooting, they escaped the scene of the crime. Police did not give the shooters' physical descriptions.
