Cashless gaming trial under supervision of New South Wales government has just 32 active users

Just 32 of the 207 participants in the government's cashless gaming trial were still active, according to information presented at a budget estimates hearing for New South Wales.

Although the minister of gaming put the low adoption rate down to a lack of trust in technology, a report on the findings would be released in November.

According to the opposition leader, the trial had been botched by the government, transforming it into a "disgraceful circus."
