The City Council of Cold Lake has decided to write a letter of support for the planned expansion of Casino Dene, thereby strengthening the existing partnership between the City and Cold Lake First Nations.
The casino's current 20,000 square feet will be increased by 6,000 square feet as a result of the expansion project, which could draw in more customers by increasing the number of gaming options. Following the project's completion, this expansion is anticipated to create five more permanent jobs in addition to the numerous construction jobs it will create in 2024 and 2025.
