Catawba Tribe acquires nine acres of land to expand casino project

For an astounding $40 million, the Catawba Nation purchased 9.4 acres of land in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, close to the Tribe's temporary casino facility. County property records state that the transaction was finished last month.

The Tribe intends to use the recently purchased land to extend its modular gaming establishment and add 12 table games, including mini-baccarat, roulette, craps, and blackjack. This summer, bets are anticipated to be accepted on the live dealer offerings.
