Central Texas could be home to a casino soon

While it is unclear which of the numerous casino and sports wagering-related proposals the Texas legislature will ultimately approve, some economists have begun to speculate on the potential advantages and disadvantages of the state's gambling growth. According to some of the suggestions, Texas might permit the opening of one gaming establishment in or close to each of the state's main cities, including Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. This would essentially awaken a dormant casino market in the state. Central Texas, where the state's capital Austin is located, could use more visitors.
