The Channel Islands Christmas Lottery top prize winner's syndicate members called the victory "surreal."
For the second year in a row, the winning ticket was sold in Guernsey, and the £500,000 prize was awarded. A syndicate of 40 women, who will each receive £12,500, held the ticket.
This is the syndicate's first victory in roughly nine years of operation. Five tickets were bought by each member and distributed among the group.
