This starting pitcher appears to be quite evenly matched. However, Baltimore ought to have the advantage when it comes to the offense and the bullpens. The visitors in this one are scoring about six runs per game, helped by deep balls that, given park characteristics, should be easier to hit in Chicago than Baltimore. Is the White Sox's league-worst bullpen able to sustain a lead against a strong offense even if they take the lead? It doesn't seem to be the case, so the Orioles ought to win this opening game.
