Chief of Thailand's national police and deputy suspended over charges related to internet gambling

Thailand's Prime Minister suspended the national police chief, Sukvimol, and his deputy, Surachate, temporarily.

This happened because Surachate was accused of being involved in illegal online gambling. They were moved to different roles within the Prime Minister's Office for now.

Surachate's house was raided last year over online gambling suspicions.
