Churchill Downs aggressively marketing the Rose Gaming Resort

The $460 million gaming resort in Virginia's Dumfries is nearing completion, thanks to the efforts of Kentucky-based Churchill Downs, Inc. Churchill Downs is aggressively marketing the casino to people living in wealthy Northern Virginia in advance of its upcoming opening.

There won't be any live dealer table games or standard casino slot machines at the Rose Gaming Resort. Rather, electronic gaming terminals that determine winning spins based on previously held horse races will be located on the gaming floor.
