Plans for Churchill Downs Incorporated's newest historical racing machine entertainment venue were revealed on Wednesday. Owensboro Racing & Gaming, the company's newest machine entertainment facility, will be its seventh in Kentucky. Approximately 20 acres of land will be used by Owensboro Racing & Gaming, which will be situated in eastern Daviess County.
There will be about 200 temporary construction jobs created by the new project. Following completion, Owensboro Racing & Gaming is anticipated to produce an annual economic impact on the region of about $125 million and 150 permanent jobs.
