Churchill Downs says Kentucky Derby betting broke records

Additionally, Churchill Downs reported that the operator's TwinSpires unit set new records at this year's Kentucky Derby.

The revenue for TwinSpires' Derby Day program surged to a new high of $92.1 million, easily exceeding the $75.5 million total from 2023. A new record of $60.9 million was handled by TwinSpires for the Derby itself, surpassing the previous all-time high of $48.9 million set the previous year.
