The Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday that starting in December 2024, 300,000 more cloud-based receipts will be eligible for a US$15.33 prize in the invoice lottery, up from 1.65 million to 1.95 million per draw. With the ultimate goal of having a paperless lottery system, the extra prizes are meant to incentivize customers to request a cloud-based receipt rather than a paper one.
