A lawsuit brought by two federally recognized tribes contesting the state's implementation of sports betting has been dismissed by Colorado state attorneys, according to a federal court application.
The lawsuit contests the way in which Polis and the Colorado Division of Gaming finalized the state's sports betting laws following a statewide referendum in 2019 that approved sports betting.
The tribes claim they were not informed that the state had decided not to allow online sports betting under their Class III gaming compacts.
