Colorado sports betting is up 8.85% in August.

Based on the most recent monthly revenue report released by the Colorado Division of Gaming, it has been revealed that licensed sports betting operators in the state have witnessed a significant surge in wagers during the month of August. An impressive total of $306 million in bets were accepted, indicating a noteworthy increase of 8.85% compared to the $281.1 million wagered in July. Furthermore, this figure demonstrates a 5.5% growth when compared to the same time frame in 2022. Notably, baseball emerged as the most favored sport amongst bettors, with bookmakers accepting a staggering $105.5 million in wagers on MLB games throughout the month of August. Following closely behind, tennis garnered $29.8 million in bets, while basketball attracted $26.3 million in wagers.
