Colorado sports wagering income surpasses $53.4 million in January.

In January, Colorado saw a big increase in money spent on sports betting, reaching $596.7 million.

This was up 9.1% from the previous year but lower than December's record. Most of the betting, around $592.2 million, was done online.

Even though there was less betting compared to December, revenue increased to $53.5 million, with basketball being the most popular sport to bet on.
