Community security guard in Peru shot in face during casino robbery

After attempting to stop a group of robbers as they were leaving a Peruvian casino they had just robbed, a man is now fighting for his life. Shot in the face and abdomen as the robbers attempted to flee while he was working as a night watchman in the city.

After getting a call from local residents, the victim, according to municipal authorities, and a few security guards showed up at the unnamed casino. After two patrons successfully escaped the heist, a watch patrol car was notified and proceeded towards the casino.
