Concord Casino charged for alleged theft

After a state investigation, the company that operates the troubled Concord Casino in New Hampshire is now facing charges.

Allegedly, the casino overstated its losses and ended up receiving $188,474 more from state funds than it was entitled to. According to the report, the casino's official start date was misrepresented in its documentation.

The charitable gaming establishment might not be able to obtain a license for ten years if the casino is found guilty. Any sale of the casino to a new buyer could be harmed by that possibility.
