Coney Island casino developers upbeat in regard to New York bid

The group behind a $3 billion proposed casino resort for Coney Island is confident that its proposal best satisfies the requirements of the New York Gaming Location Board, which stipulate that applicants must show how their projects would boost the local economy. There are about a dozen anticipated proposals for what is believed to be a single license, and the Coney Island pitch is one among them, albeit there is no law requiring state officials to award two of the licenses to MGM and Genting.
