Connecticut betting revenue rises in January

According to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, the two retail and three legal online sports betting businesses generated $22.9 million in gross revenue, an increase of 8.2% from January 2025. Revenue was adjusted to $22.5 million. Tax revenue for the state was $1.6 million.

$218.9 million in wagers and $25.9 million in gross revenue were generated by online operators FanDuel, DraftKings, and Fanatics Sportsbook. With a $100.3 million handle and $12.6 million in gross revenue, FanDuel was the market leader. Fanatics Sportsbook made $2.7 million from $34.3 million in wagers, while DraftKings made $10.7 million from $84.3 million.
